How to prevent burn-out

Many of his patients are executives and in high demand and needs a life-style with low risk of burn-out.


It is important to address one’s health physical and mental. Some of the preventative measures that Dr Kverneland educates his patients on are:

  • physical exercise preferably in a social setting with group sessions and/or with experienced personal trainers
  • mental aspects composed of lifestyle advice consisting of sleep, stress and mindfulness guidelines (meditation, gratefulness, and yoga)
  • diet that should be custom made ideally based on different types of testing. Everything from gut microflora, immune system, blood pressure, genetic variants etc.
